Dr. Sarah Greer Smith, MD

Dr. Smith is an excellent doctor. Caring and thorough with an compassionat bedside manner. She treated me for shingles as well as treated other family members for various conditions. I highly recommend Dr. Smith.

I have been Dr. Smith's patient for several years. She has treated me for a rash and for very dry and itchy skin, and I have gone to her when I was concerned about skin growths and when I needed a skin check. She has removed and biopsied a couple of spots, one of which turned out to be a basal cell skin cancer on my lip. Also, I have received botox injections and lip filler. She is very knowledgeable, always warm and friendly, and always willing to explain medical terms and conditions in language I can understand. She has a nice "touch," and by that I mean that she is gentle and is able to stick a person with a needle and not have it hurt more than necessary. I have referred several people to her and will do so again. I wish all of the doctors I go to were as wonderful as Dr. Smith.

I'll say on the front end that this review is in no way a reflection of Dr. Smith's staff, since everyone I have interacted with has been very helpful and kind to the extent of their abilities. Dr. Smith, however, was very condescending to me during my visit, which was kept as short as possible on her end, and offered me no solution to the chronic, very painful hives I was there to receive treatment for. She did, however, make sure to take my money for blood work that she couldn't bother to explain her reasoning for administering, and I have never received results for despite asking for copies (I checked Patient Portal as well. The results were never entered into the system). All I have gotten since my visit with her was a short phone call telling me that I have h. Pylori, which is probably causing the hives, but that she won't write a prescription since writing a prescription for these results is "out of her scope of practice." But testing me for it and taking my $50 co-pay for a… comprehensive specialist visit was not, I can tell you that. I feel very upset and unsatisfied with her level of care, if you could even say that that word applies, and the doctors I have gone to for treatment since my visit have all told me that she should have written a prescription for me since she administered my tests in the first place. Save your time, money, and energy and go to literally anyone else (unless you want something cosmetic done like hair plugs. The man in the room next to me received a very thorough assessment for his while I was waiting for Dr. Smith to come back and tell me what to expect next. She never returned to the room).
