Dr. Robert Joel Kaplan, MD

If you're looking for a doctor who will decide what's wrong with you the moment he walks into the room, this is the place. He seemed completely unwilling to listen to my concerns or consider information beyond his initial impression. Rather than investigating symptoms or discussing possible causes, he appeared to have already made up his mind. The appointment felt rushed, dismissive, and unproductive. I left feeling like my concerns were ignored rather than addressed. I expected a healthcare provider who would listen, ask questions, and work through the problem with me—not someone who seemed determined to fit everything into a preconceived diagnosis.

I grew up without a shirt on a farm and have played golf all my adult life. Dr. Kaplan has treated me forty plus years for many skin cancers and lesions. All successfully. Seeing him requires advance reservations - sometimes involving months. However it's definitely worth the effort and I wouldn't consider going to anyone else. He's compassionate, listens and the ultimate professional respecting your time as he expeditiously does his thorough examinations followed immediately if warranted with any necessary treatments. No long waits in his exam room.

I drove 45 minutes and got a sitter to come see someone in Kaplan's office. When I got there, the door was locked. I called to see if they were still at lunch. I was told they had no knowledge of an appt for me. I informed the receptionist that the appt was confirmed by their office when they called me. She replied she didnt know what to tell me. Maybe I could call a different offoce and be seen. Yeah, id magically be seen that day when id waited months on that appt! Ridiculous, unprofessional, & absolutely no concern from this employee. Competency is starting to be a thing of the past!

Dr Robert Kaplan has been my doctor for 39 years. He has treated me, as well as my family, for many different conditions. Many of these conditions could have been life threatening, if Dr Kaplan had not found them and removed the threat. I have ALWAYS had his home number, which I have used on occasion and he has never failed to respond to my calls. We consider him as a doctor as well as a very good friend. He is a blessing to our lives and we are very thankful for him. GOD Bless you Dr Kaplan

Dr. Bob is the best! The only problem is that he is so busy that there is some waiting. But he is worth it. Bring a book!

I saw Dr Kaplan for the first time on 11-06-18. I had a great experience from the beginning to the end. Friendly staff. Yes I would recommend this doctor. Excellent Staff!!!

Did a great job in removing about three skin cancers for me successfully with no problem after. He is a courteous, listens to you and highly qualified In his profession. I wouldn’t think of going to any other dermatologist.

Excellent experience with Dr. Kaplan. I had a condition that required immediate care and although their waiting list was six weeks, they fit me in within a week as a first-time patient. The Doctor is very aggressive in treating my chronic condition. It took him less than a month to resolve a 10-year condition! I should have seen him sooner.
