Dr. Cuilla has twice restored my vision. Each eye, over a five-year period, experienced a vitreous detachment. Each visit and surgery was an extraordinary experience. He was phenomenal clinically. I've had floaters in eyes forever but after cataract surgery, they seemed much worse. Every thing was in a shadow. Dr. Ciulla was recommended to me by my optometrist. The best decision I've made! My vision is so clear and colors are bright again. The staff at the office and the surgery center is so professional, caring and competent. I would highly recommend Dr. Ciulla!

I had horrible floaters in both eyes that really affected my vision. My local eye doctor recommended Dr Ciulla very highly and got me set up with his office. I am so pleased with the results of my surgeries. I have clear vision in both eyes after 3 years of very cloudy vision. I was impressed with Dr Ciulla and all of his staff. I just can't say enough great things about Dr. Ciulla. I suffered for four (4) years with severe floaters in both eyes and was told not to have the surgery due to it's severity. I learned of Dr. Ciulla through a friend who also had a great experience with him! Since my surgeries both eyes are clear and as a side effect I can now read my phone, menus and the dash of my truck perfectly without glasses. Dr. Ciulla is truly a great surgeon and man and has a fantastic medical team working with him. I truly am a new man and can see without obstruction again. The entire process was top notch. Dr Ciulla was absolutely wonderful. I had several floaters in both eyes which were blocking my vision from seeing clearly. I had been dealing with this for 2 years. I was referred to Dr Ciulla by me regular eye doctor and was so pleased to hear that he could help me. Midwest Eye Institute was fast, efficient and friendly. I was impressed with how professional all workers were. My surgery was very fast and very little downtime. After a month I was able to schedule the other eye. Dr. Ciulla rid me of terrible floaters in my left eye. I couldn’t read and driving was so difficult I didn’t dare drive very far. My quality of life suffered. I’m so glad I did the FOV! It’s like I’m seeing in high def and I couldn’t be happier. Any eye surgery is scary but Dr. C did a great job!

Very nice experience with Dr. Ciulla and his staff. He repaired a blood vessel in my left eye and injected a bubble to support the retina. I had two separate cataract surgeries, one on each eye, someplace other than Midwest Eye Institute. Two days after my second eye surgery, the retina in my left eye detached, and the retina in my right eye started to detach. My doctor could not help me at this point and sent me to Midwest Eye Institute immediately. I was fortunate enough to get Dr. Thomas Ciulla. He not only accepted me but also arranged my surgery on both eyes that same evening after his workday was complete. His staff was qualified and the most compassionate and caring group I have ever met. I was blind in my left eye, but thanks to Dr. Ciulla’s excellent abilities, I have my sight back. I will always be indebted to this team of caring people and grateful from the bottom of my heart. Putting my trust in Dr. Ciulla and his staff was among the best decisions I have ever made.
