the knee surgery on both knees turned out fantastic, and it has never given me any problems. I went back to work with a couple of weeks. I hated h\to see him leave Red Bluff.

I did mine about three years ago (think the new procedure was just beginning) and I had fabulous attention. Only drawback then was flying from Sana Barbara for the pre and post op appointments.

Had two total knee replacements about three years apart. No problems with the first (except for a failed pain medication experiment that was not disclosed). However, the second TKR was a disaster. Apparently this guy had become too big for his britches. His surgical assistant took ill, and yet he foolishly went ahead and performed 10 surgeries solo in one day (a fact that was not disclosed to us beforehand). The incision is ragged and over six inches long. The wrong size implant was installed (as confirmed by another physician via x-ray), and now my knee is terribly misaligned to the point that it constantly hurts - much more than before. This doctor has become all about the numbers, and how high a profile clientele he can amass. Suggest finding another who is a true artist at this business to work on your body - not a media jockey. This guy may have been good at what he does at one point, but now patients are merely fodder for his ego-centric experiments and manipulations.

A great mechanic but do not expect any follow up from his office. You are not a patient, you are on the assembly line and NO ONE will care about your medical history, your meds are not called in. Thanks to the hospital patient advocate I was able to get my medications refilled. Thanks to my GP I was followed and care for.

Dr. Coon did a total knee replacement on both of my knees three months apart. After 3 1/2 weeks I was back ice skating. It was absolutely amazing and I have no more pain whatsoever. If you want a doctor to hold your hand from beginning to end, this is not your guy! I don't care about that part, I want it done right! He's great at what he does!! Would not hesitate to recommend him.

Felt like a cow at saluter . Wham Bam thank you Mame. Spent no time (10 min. max) with me before or after surgery. Didn't listen to my concerns afterwards. More discomfort (pain) now than before procedure !!!!! Find another Doctor!

Terrible bedside manner and unresponsive to messages. Ignore the hype and marketing and find a doctor who is known for their skill and level of patient care, not how much money is spent on marketing.

Arrogant, self-important doctor with a horrible bedside manner. Performed a uni- knee on me in 2002 and the cementing was loose in three weeks. My nursing career was over and I had to have the knee revised to a total knee replacement in San Diego. He was rude and un- caring when my uni- knee failed and refused to take any responsibility for his shoddy work. I would NEVER recommend him to anyone.

Arrogant doctor. Insisted the results were normal, when in fact, I have never been the same. My health has gone steadily downhill since the surgery over 8 years ago. My knee was more functional and less painful before the surgery ......yet he insists it went well and my recovery was good...He is unable to admit any failure on his part. It did not go well, despite going back three times for various procedures. Now he has moved to St. Helena.Physician's Assistants were much more honest and caring.

This doctor is heavy on the marketing, funded by a hospital in St. Helena and by an implant/robot company that pays him for using their equipment. His ads use fake patients. He is dishonest and I'd recommend staying away.
