Dr. Thomas Edward Davidson, MD

My experience with Thomas E. Davidson was traumatizing. After my D&C, I was in unbearable pain for two days and eventually passed out. At the ER, I was told that nothing had been removed and I needed an emergency second D&C. It has been a year, and I am still traumatized. I never received any concern, acknowledgment, or apology. It truly baffles me how he is still practicing please stay away

I called and spoke with the nurse about my concerns and for information about traveling to an area where Zika was present. I informed her I was looking to become pregnant and how websites like CDC and the WHO strongly urged pregnant women not to travel to this area and to contact your physician. The nurses tone when she called was rushed and seemed to be irritated. Before I could finish my sentence she interrupted and said “Aruba doesn’t have Zika.” I told her according to these credible sources, that were just recently updated, that they show Zika is present and warned against traveling. She again said “no, it’s not there. Have a fun trip”. I continued to do thorough research and found that Zika is in fact actively in Aruba and pregnant women/women looking to become pregnant should not travel there. Luckily I did a lot of research and didn’t just take her word on it. I find it infuriating that this practice provides incorrect information to its patients that can result in serious… birth defects to their children. I also feel very rushed during my appointments when I’m looking for information and Dr. Davidson already has one foot out the door. I am currently switching. With hopefully becoming pregnant with my first child, I will need more a professional and more reliable OBGYN.

I was having a problem but couldn't get past the nurse. She thought she could diagnose me over the phone. Turned into a big issue and ended up going to MGH which caused me much stress and pain. Don't bother with this quack.

Dr. Davidson is very nice however I did not like how quick he was in and out of appointment. I would have liked to listen to my baby's heartbeat a little longer then 20 seconds.

I would definitively choose Dr. Thomas Davison again. He is my first gyn male doctor. I felt very confortable speaking about my situation and treatment. I would highly recommend this doctor!
