Dr. Thomas Joseph Ditkoff, MD

Doctor, (and I use the term loosely), Ditkoff is a Monster of the first degree. I came to him because of excruciating pain in my LEFT knee. Without an x-ray or MRI he looks at me and says: "oh but your RIGHT leg is SO bow legged" I don't know why I let him do it but he screwed a long pipe to my RIGHT shin bone so now I had the pain in my left knee that I came to see him about PLUS the botched job of his with the pipe on my RIGHT leg! When it was time to remove the screws from this wrongfully placed pipe on my RIGHT shin bone his tiny hands couldn't break the screws loose! I pushed his small hands away and loosened the screws myself. This is no different than a doctor prescribing chemo to a cancer patient that doesn't have cancer. He banned me from his office so when I went to another orthopaedic doctor and told about the Monster Ditkoff the Doctor said: "yeah we know about him and he's the only one who does that". I asked him why he didn't Police his 'own' and turn the guy in and he… just looked down at his shoes and mumbled a few words and then changed the subject. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor and DO NOT go to this Freak of a wanna be doctor Ditkoff! Please-it's too late for me but not for others and that's my reason for my review of this maniac supposed to be doctor! BUYER BEWARE!!

I had a severe pain in my LEFT KNEE and for some reason I got hooked up with, (I hesitate using the word doctor), this idiot Ditkoff. After telling him how much my LEFT KNEE was hurting he says: "oh, but your RIGHT LEG is SOOOO bowlegged and you need a big steel pipe screwed into your RIGHT shin to straighten it!??! I guess I went along with him because he was SUPPOSSED to be a doctor of some sort so I trusted him. I walked around with this 'pipe' on my RIGHT leg for quite awhile. When this monster decided to remove it he couldn't get the 2 screws loose. I shoved his little weak hands away and gave the screws a twist with my hands and got them loose. In return he banned me from his office. Before I left I asked for my x-ray as the next Doctor wanted it. After a long argument with his very rude staff I was presented with an x-ray envelope. When I hobbled down to my car and opened it the envelope was empty. I went back in and demanded my x-ray. Turns out they just gave me somebody's old… x-ray. When I explained his 'little' pipe on the leg that didn't hurt the new Doctor said that Ditkoff was the only guy they know of that does such a thing. I asked this new Doctor why they don't police their own? He just looked down at his shoes and changed the subject. THIS HACK SHOULD BE LOCKED UP!! He's no different than the guy who's in prison for treating people for cancer that don't have it. He's a scammer and a fraud and he has no skills other than those needed by a con man. There were other patients in his office when I was cursing him and his rude staff out. As I was leaving they clapped and cheered me on and remarked that they knew this was going to happen! BUYER BEWARE! Steer clear of this idiot! He's about to feel the wrath of the UAW Legal Dept. Please STAY AWAY from this monster and spread the word. I have!

My son saw him for a knee problem - just as the other reviewers said - very rude and arrogant. We waited 90 minutes to get in. No apology or acknowledgement from doctor about the late-ness. Our follow-up appointment was the same. Wait wait wait, and then deal with a rude doctor. Would never go back and never recommend.

Completely blew off my daughter's pain symptoms. Suggested we were doctor shopping because we were searching desperately for answers. Actually said that maybe my daughter just didn't want to be a cheerleader any more and this was her way of telling me. Just because her xrays were normal, he did nothing to look further into the cause of her pain. My daughter decided to push through the pain to continue cheer, at HER choice, and here we are 2 years later, 2 more concussion/whiplash injuries, chronic neck/shoulder/jaw pain and she now suffers from depression and anxiety because nobody can figure out why she injures so easily and what is causing the dysfunction. So, thanks for nothing, Dr. Ditkoff. Probably the most unsympathetic doctor I've ever met. And to think he works with children.

He gave me new knees and I am glad he was my surgeon

Dr. Ditkoff's abrupt and rude personality indicates to me he no longer enjoys his work and it's time for him to retire... Dr. Ditkoff told my daughter she had nothing more than a bad sprain. Today, under the care of a different doctor, my daughter will be going in for surgery to stabilize a fracture, repair a torn tendon and tighten ligaments.

This doctor is rude ignorant and arrogant, this guy should not be dealing with kids. It's very troubling when a doctor tells a kid the worst possible thing without any warning to the adults. He's very ignorant and self centered. I wouldn't take a stray dog in to see this guy.

Took my son here with broken femur. Doctor seemed a bit overboard with the xrays. I didn't really get the reasoning behind xraying the fracture every couple weeks. we were having no problems or pain. What really got me was when the dr asked me if we were going to physical therapy. When i answered that we were not, because my son seemed to be walking, running, climbing without a problem his reply was, " You son is not 4, he cant just bounce right back". my son was still young, age 11, and in fact Dr ditkoff he did bounce right back, without paying for and wasting time driving to PT in your office where you probably get a kick back for referring patients. we have also had over an hour waits in his waiting room.

I waited 1 hour & 30 minutes to see him, no apology for being so late. I felt like he did not listen to a word I said and I was basically dismissed. I explained that I had been experiencing the problem for 2 months and stated that the things I had been trying did not work. His final recommendation was "keep doing what you've been doing and if it doesn't get better in 2 weeks give me a call," I will be looking for another physician.

Waited 1.5 hours to see him, although I could make an appt easy to see him. His assistant burned my daughters foot taking the cast off. He was extremely rude. I never met a dr like him nor would I recommend him.
