Dr. Doney has compassion for women, and he and Dr. Cahill have taken care of my GYN needs for over 30 years and always have been there when I needed them.

Doney is alright. However if you expect his office staff to follow up with you, this is not the office for you. The nurses are an embarrassment to the profession of nursing. Their cold, unprofessional demeanor should be enough to turn anyone away from this practice.

there is nothing i dislike about dr doney. i don't mind waiting while he goes and delivers a baby. He is well worth the wait. I have been going to him for 29 years

I am a patient at Valley Women's Health Group. I was scheduled to see Dr Doney a few weeks ago when my doctor was on vacation. I waited for literally over an hour and a half to see him, and when I finally did see him, he acted as though he was not running behind at all. There was no apology and he annoyingly made small talk as if we had nothing better to do. By the time we left the office the entire staff had gone home. Today I was scheduled to see him again because my primary was on vacation again. Upon asking, I was told that once again he was running hours behind, and this is apparently a daily occurence for him and has been for years. I am absolutely more than pleased with this office overall, and my primary doctor is fantastic, but if you plan to be seen in any kind of a timely manner I'd recommend that you refuse to make an appt with Dr Doney.

I hate that you wait at least 1 to 3 hours or more to see Dr.Doney.I have been seeing him for 6 1/2 years and have never been there without waiting less than an hour just to get into a room,than another 45 minutes for the doctor to arrive.Why does he double and triple book his appointments?I am now in search of a new OB because i can't take the wait any longer!
