Dr. Thomas David Dressel

I had two suction liposuctions on my thighs, & tummy before cauterizing was available. My thighs were huge and I had a small upper body. I also had a face lift. I thank the lucky stars every day that I had these procedures done. I would high recommend Dr Dressel.

I have to admit, after reading these reviews, I was soooo nervous to go through with my surgery!! I had only met with Dr. Dressel once, but knew 2 people who had him for their breast reductions as well and said he was awesome and the surgery couldn't have gone any better!! I thought the nurses I had dealt with were ALL very pleasant and informative!!I decided to go through with the surgery , despite the horrible reviews, and I'm so glad I did! I needed to stay overnight in the hospital because of the distance I lived from his clinic.The hospital staff were all wonderful as well- I couldn't have asked for a more comfortable stay! I had hardly any pain after surgery, in fact I asked for NO pain meds what-so-ever!It's been several weeks now since my surgery and I am healing VERY nicely!!!! I'm so glad I listened to people who actually had the surgery done and not the reviews I read online!I would highly recommend him as a cosmetic surgeon ! He may not be the "jovial, bubbly" kind of… Dr people look at , although he has an awesome dry sense of humor, but I could not be happier with my outcome!!!Thank you Dr. Dressel and staff!!!! What a life-changing experience for me!!!

Only one of the nurses was caring. The others were rude, expecially the ones on the phone. they raised their voices at me while i was trying to express my concerns and explain whatever i needed to explain. The wait in the office was very long. when we actually met with him he told us only what we wanted to hear and nothing else. he was there to just please you and get you out of the office as soon as possible. and make sure that they get a copy of your insurance card. The receptionist has been almost yelling at me over the phone. she was extremely rude. My Fiance could hear her from across the room while i was on the phone with her.

I got almost no information re my scars on my face. When asked what to expect, I was told they would either stay the same, get worse or get better. I left feeling I would search for a different doctor.

I have never been so dissapointed in a doctor as I was with Dr. Dressel. He was very nice at the first appointment. He asked that I meet with him a second time after my surgery was approved by insurance. In that appointment I asked him questions about post-surgery and he rolled his eyes at me, told me I would get the information with my discharge papers but he would answer my questions if I insisted. Yes... as a matter of fact, I did. After many uncomfortable questions when I was treated as though my questions were stupid (I've never had surgery before), I handed him my FMLA and Short Term Disability paperwork. He started to fill it out (I did not insist that he fill it out immediately) and was constantly reminded that he had other patients to get to and a time schedule to keep. I cancelled my surgery the next day. This man is not cutting into me!
