had cataract surgery, asked questions about multifocal lens - if I was a candidate for them. Told I was. I wasn't, as multi-focal lens shouldn't be used on people who had lasik. I had informed him that I had lasik in 2001 but taking the expert's advice, I got the multi-focal and to date have very blurry vision in my right eye, on and off good vision in left eye. I went back several times, he performed yag on right eye saying it was secondary cataract, no improvement. This went on for several months and to date nearly 3 years later hasn't improved. Cost of surgery was astronomical with me paying over 6k out of pocket. Also ptosis occured because of the surgery, when I asked why my right eye was now smaller than my left, he said it occurs and there was a plastic surgeon on site who could fix it... seriously??? His office manner appeared less than interested and I was left with poor vision and 6k wasted. Do not use him.

Excellent service twice by this doctor

Dr. Falkenburg, who did my cataract surgeries, cleared up the cloudiness that developed over the past two years using a YAG laser treatment. There was no pain, and by the following morning, I could really see a difference in clarity; no negative side effects occured. I will have the procedure on my left eye in one week.

Dr Falkehberg and his assistants are one of the best health professionals teams I have ever experienced. All were very caring and willing to answer any questions or concerns I had. Their care was exceptional. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs eye care of any kind.
