Dr. Thomas Calvin Garrott, MD

I was seen by Crawford and rescheduled for a procedure ten days later. I went to the appointment and was seen by Showalter and she said she couldn’t see why I was there and did not provide services. I was told I wouldn’t be charged for the office visit. My insurance was billed and I received a bill for my co-pay. I called both offices and Showalter never could be reached and didn’t return my voicemail. I am a long time customer and very disappointed.

The Garrott Dermatology Clinic was GREAT! I was looking for a 2nd opinion and the Dr. Garrott and his staff gave me much more information than my previous dermatologist. In fact, all 3 of the clinic's doctors came into the room to look at my concerns and spent time making sure I understood the diagnosis and treatment. I feel like I received three 2nd opinions at once! It was hard to get an appointment but once I was there, the staff was very prompt and professional. The wait time was accurate as far as I am use to and the attention from the staff on keeping me abreast was exceptional. Once with the docs, they did a thorough review, were descriptive in their observations, and took the time to explain in detail the issues.

Dr Crawford informed me that "he didn't care what I thought" and he gave me the worst bed side manner experience I have ever had. He failed to do even standard procedure and I actually went and got a second opinion to make positively sure I wasn't wrong in my feelings. Please don't waste your time and money if you must go to this clinic use any dr other than Crawford. Trust me. Smiling doesn't make you a good dr correct diagnosis and treatment do, therefore dr Crawford honestly should pack up and practice fast food where intelligence isn't required.
