Had kidney surgery years ago. Encountered multiple urinary-tract infections. Prescribed medicine for short-term and detrol for long-term. When experienced another soon after, was told to follow-up in the ER. Was unwilling to do further testing to check the status of the original surgery.The original physician, the Gianis brothers from whom bought the practice, was excellent. It was the reason that my family I tried to continue with the practice.Unfortunately, my father also tried to follow up with them. He was not sent for thorough testing and prescribed Flomax. Tragically, the problem was one of his kidneys had shut down, and the other one was failing as a result of multiple untreated infections. After suffering for many months, he died last year.
