Dr. Thomas Vincent Gregory, MD

Let's start off with the fact that I was lied to. My FIRST question was can I have an epidural. He said I could if an anesthesiologist was on duty. When I went into the hospital to deliver I was told "Honey we haven't done one of those in 7 years". Next, I was given an enima that was beyond painful and I was shaved to the point of bleeding a lot. Then one of the partners checked me and it was so painful I started screaming and it stopped my labor for over 6 hours. When I was finally ready to deliver almost 24 hours later they strapped my legs down and when I got a groin cramp they wouldn't release my leg. I lost the hand hold and grabbed the nurse and she started yelling and Dr Gregory said "I don't have to put up with this" and went over to a chair against the wall and sat in it. The hellish treatment I got from him and Shore Memorial (as it was called then) continued well beyond the delivery room. I had ONE really incredibly kind and great nurse. I really hope that he… gained some decent bedside manner since then but if not then avoid this dr at all costs. This was my second child. My first delivery was at Howard County General in Maryland and was incredible. When I found out I was pregnant with my third child I was terrified and actually considered aborting (only for a moment) because I didn't want to go through that again. If I had known what this "doctor" was going to be like I would have traveled back to Maryland for drs visits until I was too far along to travel and then would have lived the final months with my parents. Remember, it all started with him LYING to me. And I have resentment to this day.
