Very knowledgeable and polite, wonderful bedside manner. He has been my doctor for many years and I have never left his office unsatisfied. I would highly recommend him to anyone currently living in or visiting the DC area.

Ok so he is a little old school. but i like that. I got up one day and let me tell you i was sick. I had the flu my temp was 102.5 ex. When i called his office i got an apt. for later that day. the woman who made the apt. told me to call if i got sicker and she would get me in to see him before 2:30. When I saw Dr. Havell he was nice and able to put his finger on the problem with out a lot of B.S. - when i called his office 3 days later with a question the same woman picked up the phone (I think she is the only one who works for him) not only asked how i was doing but when i told her i had a question she put him on the phone. NO LET ME TAKE A MESSAGE OR TALK TO HIS NURSE. Like i said a little old school but i like that. By the way he answered my question. And has been my MD ever since.

This doctor was condescending and made me feel like I was wasting his time. He also completely mis-diagnosed my case and sent me home with a snide remark ("You'll live") which caused me to get much sicker and up with a serious case of pneumonia. Do not go to this guy!
