Dr. Thomas Jerome Hegerich, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Hegerich for about ten years. He is knowledgeable, understands the needs of his patients and is willing to spend whatever time it takes during his appointments. While, in my view, he has superior knowledge in the field of family practice, he never attempts to treat any condition which he has not trained for. He makes referrals as necessary too ensure his patients have the best care. I will continue to see him for as long s I need a Doctor that I have confidence in.

Dr. Hegerich is one of the finest physicians I have dealt with over the last 60 years. He has been my personal physician for 14 years and I would not consider any other PCM. He is personal, friendly, professional, and competent. Highly recommended!

Excellent Dr that really cares about his patients.

He's been my GP for a long time, and has routed me to some excellent specialists along the way. Always takes an interest in what I am up to, which makes it a personal as well as professional relationship.

I would have given 5 stars for staff, but Dr Hegerich's nurse, as part of her duties, is supposed to okay prescription renewals electronically and to issue new prescriptions electronically. She is prone to forget these responsibilities.

Dr. H is very friendly, but he does not pay attention to detail or offer appropriate care, even in routine matters. An injury resulted in chronic pain, and I was left on my own to pursue avenues of diagnosis and treatment. After several years I transfered to another practice and found out that the thyroid numbers he had been saying were normal, were actually quite a bit off. My new physician upped my thyroid dosage, and I felt tremendously better.

My family has been seeing Dr. Hegerich for over 16 years. He is usually spot on with his diagnosis, listens, and asks questions. He takes his time, never rushes in and out. His staff is always great, nurses always friendly and caring. His front office people have always been great, able to get us in at a moment's notice.
