Dr. Thomas Edward Helbig, MD

I am a patient for many years and just love Dr. Helbig and know when I see him that I will feel much better. He diagnoses accurately, will order appropriate tests, his staff is so kind and caring which makes the visit more enjoyable. I am very disheartened though that he has decreased his hours but I won't go anywhere else. His partner is Dr. Buechel who has a wonderful reputation so these 2 doctors are still the best around in my opinion.

I am a long time patient and trust Dr. Helbig so much. He is always very accurate and doesn't order unnecessary tests. I have referred many friends and he is good with time, as well. I must compliment the office staff - very well managed, always pleasant. This is the way a doctor's office should be. Very nice experience

I have been a patient for many years and trust Dr. Helbig implicitly. He is always right on target with the diagnosis and really explains things. I've referred many friends and family to his office and everyone seems equally happy and impressed with Dr. Helbig. The staff is well managed, well trained and a very happy group. As I get older, I am seeing more and more doctors and I must say- this staff is very warm and seem to enjoy their jobs.

I see Dr. Helbig for several things and he is consistently right on target. My surgery went perfect for my knee replacement. In addition to the doctor's expertise, have to mention the manager took care of my surgery details and she was awesome and extremely knowledgeable. The dr is awesome and usually I am in and out within a reasonable time. The entire experience was professional and that is a reflection on the manager, as well. I highly recommend this doctor & if you need surgery you are in good hands

I was in agonizing pain and through I was ready to jump off a cliff. A friend suggested I call this office as I called other orthopaedic drs and they want you to wait weeks for an appointment. His schedule was booked but the woman who answered referred me to speak with the manager. I didn't know what to do but the manager listened and she briefly had me on hold & then said the doctor would see me before his afternoon appointment. Everyone was so friendly and a nice staff. I cried as soon as Dr. Helbig walked into the room, he listened to me and had xrays taken & suggested some Euflexxa injections in my knee. He gave me a steroid injection and some medication to help get me over the hump b/c I was in agony. I start my 3 injections next month but I really feel so much better compared to how I felt. I really cannot thank the doctor enough and his staff. Wonderful people. I was treated so well there.

Before my shoulder arthroscopy, I had seen a few doctors and was scared. Felt they were knife happy. A patient of this office recommended Dr. Helbig. He was wonderful, sensed my fears and apprehension. He suggested we try a cortizone injection to give me some relief while I think about surgery. He is an Injection God ! SEriously, I didn't feel any pain and my shoulder felt great for a few weeks. Then we had the discussion ... cannot live on these injections, etc.. .Well, I had the surgery and had 200% excellent results - so glad I listened to his advise. By the way, the woman who scheduled this for me was wonderful, very organized, answered my questions, kept me informed of everything. I've had surgery before by another office for something unrelated and I felt like I was flying without a net. This office is very well managed and the staff is efficient and friendly. They seem to get along really well and it shows. I highly recommend Dr. Helbig and his staff !!!

I WAS IN AGONY with my shoulder for 2 weeks and thought the pain would go away. I heard from a friend that I should see Dr Helbig and am glad I did. He injected my shoulder and for the first time - within an hour RELIEF. Its been a few months and I am still pain free. I had to see him last week for my hand - the staff was great and he was booked but they had me come in that day because the nurse said she was sure it would be just another injection - which it was ! The staff is equally wonderful - very experienced, well trained and they seem to be a happy group. That says a lot about the doctor and the manager. I highly recommend this office and the doctors !

The doctor is excellent and when I have a problem the staff listens & is VERY accommodating. Dr. Helbig is THE BEST !!! and so are all the lovely women who work there. I don't have to wait very long - he is very conscious of the time factor and respects that we also need to get back to work.

I was impressed from the moment I called the office and spoke with a women who identified herself but I forgot her name . She asked all the right questions and I was like "Wow ! someone who listens to me". I liked the staff when I arrived and the Doctor was so nice, he listened and diagnosed me, gave me a much appreciated injection !! and I was so glad I saw him. I called a few days later with a question & he was in surgery. The woman who answered was very helpful and again - knew what I was referring to and gave me great advise. I was so thankful, I brought some donuts to the office the following week.

Very professional, and got right to the point. I didn't have to wait very long at all, had an xray and discussion with the doctor He was right on the money and I feel better I want to comment on a friendly staff this doctor has, as well. Nice people
