Dr. Thomas Peter Heyrman, MD

Dr. Heyrman is very thorough, dedicated, reassuring, intelligent and no-nonsense in his approach to patient care; yet he has a sense of humor. (His memory is phenomenal.) His technicians were also great! I really appreciated all the explanations as to what was wrong with my eyes and why he would be doing which procedures - from diagnostic to surgical. He and the tech staff encouraged me to call if I had ANY questions. I ended up having cataract surgery in both eyes and am very pleased with the results! Wait time at the office was 5-20 min. I think it just depended on the volume of patients and what their needs were.

Dr. Heyrman and his staff were great. You could definitely tell that they cared. They called my name on time and got me in with his assistant. After the assistant was done, Dr. Heyrman took about 15 minutes to see me. I thought this was understandable as doctors are usually behind schedule. When he did come to see me he was very good at explaining what my condition was and what he was going to do to help me. I ended up having to have surgery and he was very helpful throughout the process. I thought he was a really cool guy and an ophthalmologist would highly recommend.

I like most of you who read reviews tend to take them with a light caution. So I decided to make an appointment with this doctor, I showed up 30 minutes early because this was my first time at his office. I was eventually called up to see him 20 minutes after my appointment time and they put me in the room and I waited another hour and half before he came to see me. I wouldn't call him a nitwit but he serious needs to reevaluate why he is a doctor and his commitment to his craft.
