JR Thomas John Hogan

Dr. Hogan was recommended to me as a primary care physician by a radiologist who has been practicing in the Savannah area for nearly 50 years. One of the important considerations in choosing a primary care physician he noted was having a physician who will attend to you when you are hospitalized as opposed to a physician who does not.

Very pleased with Dr. Hogan; he gives you ample time, can discuss anything medical, and he usually has a positive response.

Great Doctor

Perhaps one of the best Doctors, I have had the distinct pleasure to have on my team. He is one of the Dr's who is sitting there in a chair in the hospital by your bed waiting for you to wake up. He is always concerned, meticulous in his discovery and treatment, and curious to send you to others as the need arises. He is also humble enough to tell you when you need to see someone else, since this is not his forte. So many Drs. today try to look up the answer on their little Dr. Dictionary. Dr. Hogan does not, he has knowledge, training, experience and sincere interest in your health. You could not do better.

Great doctor, spends time and explains everything with me and my wife. Also very nice and understanding doctor, been seeing him all 17 years.

I was sick and called Dr. Hogan's office at 8:10 in the morning. I was on hold for more than 20 minutes before I gave up. I called again at 10 AM and was on hold for 15 minutes before i hung up. I called back at 1:30 and after being on hold for more than 15 minutes I called back and said I was a physician. I got through to someone. I explained I was sick and had tried calling many times and was on hold for a long time. The person told me this was a physicians line and I just had to wait. I wish they had a message system so i could get a call back but they do not. Iwill find a new physician.

I was a new patient. The doctor examined me before he looked at my medical history as provided by me. He was not familiar with a medication I take and he made errors in his assessment of my health.

Very prompt and courteous. Always willing to see me when I am sick.

Misdiagnosed me as Type II diabetic. After multiple problems with meds, I insisted I see a specialist - who ran tests and said I was Type I diabetic. Never went back to Dr. Hogan.
