Dr. Thomas Joly, MD

I like Dr Joly but it’s 430 and I’ve been sitting in lobby for an hour and a half for my 3pm appointment. My time is valueable too!

Dr. Joly messed up my sons eye and is causing my son to seek further treatment with Texas Children's to fix his surgical travesty. My son now has a big overhang on his eyelid and Dr. Joly's response was that he rarely gets the surgery right the first time. We'll my son had minor lazy eye and now he has a lop sided eye with skin overhang. I would say he definitely didn't get it right the first time. He even had the nerve to tell us to try not to sue because his surgery paperwork has a clause stating that he might get it wrong. This doctor needs to have his license taken from him.

Dr. Joly is AMAZING! First, his bedside manner sets a standard which should be a goal for all Dr.'s. He is kind, patient, and willing to explain everything so you can understand it. He will always take calls and answer any questions you have. He is very reassuring if you need surgery. I had an orbital decompression, an orbital wall floor implant surgery and a lid surgery. All three surgeries were as pleasant as a surgery can be and Dr. Joly was so supportive. I will never go to anyone else! He was able to correct my issues and make my appearance as it was before I became ill. He is one in a million!

Friendly office staff. Dr. Joly was excellent. The surgery he did for me was one two other doctors said they'd prefer I see someone with more training and experience. He certainly has both along with a great chair side manner.

Run, don't walk to the exit. I could not believe every encounter with this office and Dr over a 3 month period it was like it was the first time they had ever treated a patient. Everything from dirty bathrooms in the surgery center to the staff not knowing the tools the dr was asking for. They did not even have the correct surgery they were doing! Honestly, they could have cared less.

I was a thyroid eye disease patient. Dr. Joly treated the disease . I saw him on a bi-monthly basis for 3 years... He was also my surgeon who performed 5 surgeries to bring me back to ME.. He held my hand when I was scared, reassured me, had a tissue ready for my tears !! His care for his patients is above the top.. I was very lucky to have him by my side with such a unrecognized disease..

I love this Doctor!!! Very intelligent, professional, and a great sense of humor. KD
