Dr. Thomas James Kenney, MD

Doctor Kenney treated me in 2013 for my non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. He saved my life in his quick response to my advanced lymphoma. He is a self-described lymphoma nerd and I (of course) loved that about him. His professionalism, his care, his staff, and his knowledge saved my life. He gave me gentle encouragement that gave me hope along the way. I forever will be grateful to him and his very kind staff.

I think Dr Kenney was nice enough but my insurance and I were charged $420.00 for seeing the Dr and another $275.00 was charged for a "facility fee". I will never go see this dr again because of Centura and Dr K charging a facility fee for a routine office visit. When I registered a complaint Centura said there was nothing they could do about it, I said that I disagreed, that they could code an office visit different than an outpatient procedure. They said they would "not" do anything to correct the charges. I did not receive any treatments, procedures, nor did the Dr perform anything other than a consult on my previously taken bloodwork from my primary Dr. This is a scam to charge patients to pay for the doctors "office rent". I will post this in every place I can so people can be notified of this unethical practice.

Dr. Kenney is an outstanding doctor for several reasons. First, he is the most knowledable oncologist and is very up to date with new treatments. He hires the very best assistants who are also very knowledable and kind. He is very caring and makes you think you are the most important patient he has. Lastly, he saved my life. I could not recommend him any more highly.

Dr Kinney was very professional and caring beyond what he had to do. He explains things well. He takes time.
