The last time I tried to make an appointment I was yelled at for 15 minutes in very confusing language. When I asked if we could focus on a solution the office manager continued to yell at me until I hung up.

if you have the opportunity to have a real appointment with Dr. Kockinis, he is an amazing person, he is really worried about your concerns and he tries to help you in the best possible way. The problem is that being able to reach him is almost a titanic labor! It is almost impossible for any mortal to have an appointment with the doctor thanks to the good management of his support staff; I could say almost without a doubt that it is easier to have an appointment with Donald Trump than with Dr. Kockinis thanks to the staff who is responsible for controlling his appointments. If you really need a doctor to solve your medical problem and do it quickly (not in two or three months after having called 50 times) Then look better some else.

he staff is not competent, does not keep good records and does not contact the patient in a timely manner regarding lab or X-ray results. I had a chest x ray and it took over a month and countless phone calls to get the results.the radiologist reported I had a serious problem that required surgery. It gets worse, when I went to pick up the Radiology report to give to the surgeon, the report was not in the envelope, it was the wrong report. I call their office several times a day for 3 days and their mail box was full and when I finally got thru and left two messages they never called me back. My surgery is scheduled for Friday and now I am going to have to cancel. Very unprofessional

Rude staff. They will leave you on the phone for more than an hour...Not polite at all.

Nice enough guy, works relaxed hours and isn't in the office every day so appointments aren't that easy to come by. Good for routine appointments / prescription refills but I wouln't take anything serious to him.... Staff are nice, seem young and in training. If you are after an vibrant enthusiastic physician who will follow-up and show genuine interest, you should probably keep looking.

Wife of the Doctor whose name is Teresa was very rude to me when I called to ask to get help in getting off an anti depressant. She yelled at me and refused to call the pharmacy to get just 10 pills for me to wean myself off just because i missed two appointments. This is unacceptable behavior from a Doctors office. They are suppose to help their patients.

I am 43 years old and I have never encountered a doctor like Thomas Kockinis. Example I had a motorcycle wreck with a clean bill from the ER and a second GP but continually felt pain after the accident DR Kockinis within 3 minutes told me I had broken ribs which in turn called an old friend to come and take the x-rays because he stated that broken ribs are sometimes are difficult to find through x-ray. Sure enough I had 4 broken ribs. He always takes time to find out what the real issues are and gives you a strong understanding why you feel the way you do. I no longer live in CA but wish I did just for the convenience and care that he provides.
