Dr. Thomas G. Kraemer, MD

He was very dismissive of my chronic pain due to endometriosis. I had laparoscopic surgery 3 years prior for endometriosis ablation. After that appointment I was told I would potentially need the same surgery every 3-5 years. My pain came back 1 year later and I told Dr. Kraemer this only for him to say “well, everyone has different opinions about timelines.” He laughed when I then asked for an oophorectomy or hysterectomy and said he wouldn’t just agree to any surgery. His concern was throwing me into menopause (which is a valid concern) but then tried to prescribe me a medication that would artificially start menopause. He also said a hysterectomy would only have a 50% chance of relieving my pain. (Studies show and other doctors have since confirmed the chance is closer to 95%). I went to a different doctor who listened to my concerns and agreed to a hysterectomy, ordered a Pap smear, and gave me a pelvic exam. It was only then that I realized Dr. Kraemer never even checked the… concerns I’d brought to him.

Dr. Thomas Kraemer is the best physician I've ever had the honor to have as my doctor. In 2001 I ended up in the Emergency Room and needed an emergency surgery, he worked that day and he saved my life. After 23 years I can say he performed a great surgery since I've never had any issues. He is an awesome surgeon, very professional, carrying , knowledgeable and has a lot of experience. If you chose to have Dr. Kraemer you will have the best care.

Would have given him a zero if possible. When he came in all he said about my ovarian cysts ( which the ER told me to follow up on) was that if I wasn't in pain at the moment they were gone. He then added that next time I was in pain to go there and not the ER. ( Well thanks, I was doubled over with severe pain in my right abdomen at the time, and didn't know if it was my appendix or not). He then dismissed me without even laying a hand on me to check. me out or anything. I will NEVER see this so called doctor again

Dr. Kraemer truly cares for his patients as far more than just a number on a chart. I highly recommend him to family and friends on a regular basis.

I have always had a good experience with Dr. Kraemer. He is a little dry. But he goes out of his way to explain things. He doesn't seem judgemental. Easy to talk to and build a trusting relationship with. I think he is a caring physician which the profession needs more of.
