Dr. Thomas Carleton Moore Krueger, MD

My experience has still caused me issues to this day. He doesn’t have a very good bedside manner and is extremely short with his answers. He doesn’t like to be questioned about his surgeries or opinions which to me is a huge red flag. Doctors should care first and foremost about their patients and their recoveries. Surgery can be terrifying and you need a doctor who welcomes questions and gives you answers. He does not do any of that.

I now will make sure my loved ones get taken ANYWHERE but Southern Hills just because of him. He was on call when my loved one needed a very serious operation that left her in critical care. He was rude, cold and mean when our family showed concern. Since then my loved one has had to have FIVE corrective surgeries to correct what he screwed up! Our new surgeon said that he did permanent organ damage and our loved ones insides looked like a bomb was detonated. I don't understand how he is still practicing. I hope he sleeps well at night. Well, I'm sure he does. Because as we struggle with Pain and recovery he is sleeping in a house that probably cost a million dollars laughing. Disgusting.

I was told appendix surgeries were very routine and easy. Unfortunately, this Dr was the one on call. My hubby had complication after complication. This dr was rude, condescending. We got a second opinion later and that surgeon was blown away by this Dr' incompetence.

I am thankful that Dr. Krueger is my surgeon. He is a kind, caring and compassionate person. He explains all the complicated medical terms with such simple words and always makes you feel at ease; as though you were talking to your friend.

We didn't seek him out. He was on call at he ER. My wife had to undergo surgery and spend time in critical care. He was condescending with no bedside manner at all. I could maybe overlook that if he was a good surgeon but, he wasn't. To this day my wife has had to have several corrective surgeries from the mess Dr. Kreugar left her in.

I had emergency appendix surgery. ER took me to Southern Hills where this guy was on call. Even before the operation he was condescending and uncaring. He made my mother cry. It only got worse at follow up appointments. I asked to be switched to a different surgeon in his office that they share and was told I couldn't "because we made a pact not to steal each other's patients". What about the patients?!?

I am 65 years old and a whimp. I had a breast scare recently. I went in for my regular mammogram and a spot was seen in my left breast. My grandmother had breast cancer so this really put me over the top. The radiologist at Southern Hills East did the biopsy but Dr. Krueger was the referring doctor due to some unrelated breast issues a couple of months earlier. I think Dr. Krueger is the best. He called me with the biopsy results and talked with me like he was my next door neighbor. I loved that. The spot in my breast was cyst but Dr. Krueger wants to keep a close watch there. I trust him and I would highly recommend him.

I saw Dr. Krueger for hernia repair. On my initial visit, his excellent bedside manner put me at ease. He explained my case thoroughly to me and in a way I could understand. We set up a date for surgery right there in the exam room. The day of the surgery before they put me to sleep, he came to talk with me and again explained what he would do. I couldn't be more pleased with the way my procedure went and I recommend him without any hesitation.

Doctor Krueger saved my life. I went into the ER with a sub-acute abscess, and he gave me the meds and I went to sleep as they performed a 4 hour surgery to remove part of my small intestine, appendix, and ilium. No brainer I would be dead without him. He also came while I was in the hospital for 18 days to see me every morning at 7 a.m. I know a lot of people right bad reviews because they expect life to be perfect, but itsn't. I will tell you he knows everything about his field and he has even been to third world countries. If I was dying again, I would go to him. He will save your life. God bless him. He is the best !

Dr. Krueger and his staff were very courteous and professional. They answered my questions and made sure everything was taken care of promptly.
