Dr. Thomas Lloyd Lambert, MD

Dr Lambert is excellent heart doctor. He has given me at least 2 extra years of my life, hopefully more. I trust him with my life.

Dr.Lambert is a great dr, my mother has been coming to him for years. However his office manager Danielle is a joke I have never met anyone more rude in my life. she has no idea how to run an office, it makes me think a little differently about Dr. Lambert that he allows her behavior. she bad mouths patients, has a dirty mouth constantly cursing about something, treats the check in and check out girls like complete garbage. shes the only one that can make a double booked appointment, then you wait 3 weeks to even get that when the dr wants you back in 2 weeks. the last 3 times we were in there shes to busy socializing on her cell phone( I've been a nurse for 22 years and I know that's a hippa violation) sexual comments that come out of her mouth towards the male medical assistants in there.. I CANT EVEN BELIEVE DR LAMBERT ALLOWS HER TO WORK IN HIS OFFICE AND BE AN OFFICE MANAGER AT THAT. She needs to be let go then I will consider bringing my mom back in again.

Dr. Thomas Lambert is such a great doctor. He cares about his patients and follows up on you. Visit with him this time he was running 30-40 minutes behind because of an emergency, but he is worth the wait.

Dr. Lambert is knowledgeable for sure and got me to a position of stability with my heart, but there are a lot of issues regarding follow-up by staff, communication to client (myself) and overall office etiquette. I have never directly been able to communicate with him outside of office visits. That leads me to why I am reviewing his staff more than Dr. Lambert. After 7 minutes on hold, the office manager who was a compassionate as a frog in boiling water came on with an attitude that led to arguing back and forth regarding lost or not received test results. To have to argue about no communication of why a procedure was cancelled last minute a week before, lost test results that were supposedly read, I had enough. We're not talking about a blister but a non functioning heart in a human being that was functioning at 25%. After 8 days from when my procedure was cancelled "for more tests", which I did immediately, I had to call the office a week later and was told the Dr. had read them… the previous Friday and he would call. THREE DAYS GOES BY AND NO COMMUNICATION no call, nothing. After calling them again, they say they never got them. Isn't that the office staff's responsibility? Do I have to go and get them myself? Nothing against Dr. Lambert. He's a good Cardiologist, but his staff is not compassionate, misinformed and to argue with a client versus showing compassion and understanding is not professional. That's why I am switching Cardiologists. Upon a second opinion, I have more answers than I had in two weeks and back on track to getting my procedure. Even with tests that showed risk, I was explained why there is risk from the doctor and understood the initial cancellation. Communicate people. That's all we ask. The office by the way is run down, with examination tables 20 years old that are taped up at the corners. Old reception furniture that looks like it came from a thrift store should have been a red flag, however Dr. Lambert is a very good doctor. The staff?

I do not normally leave ratings, but felt the need to defend the negative comments. I have been seeing the doctor for about three years, my husband has been seeing the doctor for about 10 years, and I have referred many others. I agree Doctor is normally behind schedule, but that is because he is very thorough. I have never felt uninformed when I leave his office. He has always explained my health issues in lamin terms and made me feel very confident in the care I am receiving. His staff is very professional, however, they prefer you question the doctor about your medical care.

Appointment was made for 1:30 but I was seating 70 minutes waiting for doctor in a closed up ice cold room.Nurse never came in to check on me. I come out of room and started asking questions. The office manager was extremely ride and gave no answers as to why I was waiting so long. This is not the first time this has happened. I had another appointment at 3 but dr. lambert made me late. My time is valuable just like the doctors, Do not go to Dr.Lambert if you have thing to do or value your time, you will be sitting there all day. There're other fine cardiovascular doctors out there. having seen numerous drs for several different ailments i've found dr lambert to be extremely knowledgable and bright. he did chest angioplasty twice for me with no problems or side effects. he has also rooted out problems with my blocked arteries in my legs even though it isn't his specialty and i was able to get them taken care of. i have full trust in him.

My Mother was a patient of Dr. Lambert from 2006 til 2014. He is a highly caring and intelligent cardiologist. My Mother had afib and DVT. When she was released from the hospital in 06 Dr. Lambert was flabbergasted as she still had fluid in the lungs. He could not believe the in house hospital cardiologist missed this. He did not like the generic warfarin but Coumadin only. Besides doing an excellent job in monitoring her meds he was very particular about getting certain test and that only be done at certain facilities.

Dr. Lambert is a good person but he surrounded by a staff that might be the worst in medical history. Not returning phone calls is one thing but scheduling exams and then canceling them 10 minutes before the appointment is something else. Also, not reporting test results to the attending (operating)physician for over a week has serious implications including putting the patient at risk. Another imperfection in the conduct of the staff is having the patient sit in the waiting area for three hours because the the technician was unable to get a scan that would be acceptable. She was told to stay for your Tech who would be in an 1/2 an hour yet it took that much more time before she got to her. Add to this the curtness and snotty attitude of the staff and seemingly dirty (unsanitary) conditions of the office (holes in wall and very old magazines, unsanitary) in general makes this a place I don't think I will be coming back to.

Dr. Lambert has great bedside manner and takes the time to listen and explain things to his patients. I have nothing but praise for Dr. Lambert.
