He does not explain me about the tests he ordered nor the result of the test and how it impacts. He is soft natured but that alone does not help. For some of the test which is not covered by insurance and cost me costly out of pocket, I would need explanation if it is necessary. From my research and checking with insurance, I found the test he ordered- SIBO is not an accurate measure of bacteria in small intestine as it can be the transit time of food etc. Atleast he should have asked ordered pre-tests like urine tests etc to identify if bacteria is present before identifying what bacteria it is- through SIBO. Not even such a question was asked. When I talked to his nurse for any other options or tests if not SIBO, she said the doctor would discuss it in the next visit. Each visit for me is $50 copay. Already 3 visits done with same symptoms and different tests ordered after each visit. I dont know what is there to meet him to discuss it. It just goes no where by just meeting him. I… have wasted lot of money and time with no explanation. I DO NOT recommend this doctor.

Dr. Liebermann is one of a kind! He listens, he REALLY listens. He doesn't jump the gun and rush to prescribe medication and say he'll see you in four months and then forget your name and situation. He looks like a sweet little old man and HE IS, but he knows what he's doing and he's helped me through some ROUGH gastro issues. He had to refer me to other doctors for actual procedures and guess what? THEY'RE just like him. LISTEN to this doctor and his opinions-he won't steer you wrong. The ONLY issues i've ever experienced were with the appointment schedulers - THEY'RE RUDE.

he deserve a negative or ZERO rating. He' I s not talking or explaining anything. I had my colonoscopy, paid from my pocket, after procedure lots of bills coming than ever expected, almost $6000. lab charges are only $ 100 but interpretation of results costs $1500. and other same charges for $1600, no one is explaining anything and whats that bill belongs to. If I was explained in advance I didn't go for it. Overall kind of trapped, cheating

I saw Dr Liebermann through two years of treatment for Hepatitis C and he managed my care and treatment regimen very well, adding necessary blood boosters when cell counts got too low, which in turn allowed me to continue treatment that eventually resulted in remission. I followed his directions explicitly and it worked out well for me. I don't hesitate to recommend him to friends facing the same illness.
