I had a spinal laminectomy in Oct 2018 after enduring the pain of sciatica frequently and for several years . It is not an easy decision to Undergo this extensive surgery but I believe that Dr Lovely was extremely competent,experienced,and a perfectionist in his work . My surgery was not without pain and lengthy recovery ,but given the inevitable circumstances which can occur without surgery I have to say I would do it again .Prior to my surgery I was in constant chronic and sometimes acute pain.I could not walk without a cane and I could barely make it up the stairs.There was nothing I could do but have surgery. I am extremely grateful to Dr Lovely for his excellence in his field and for giving me back the ability to walk Without pain and to continue to do everything I used to do to enjoy life and live life without Horrendous pain . I’m not a person who does not require the best when it comes to serious surgery. I do believe I had the one of the best neurosurgeons in the country !

Dr. Lovely was very professional. including his staff in his honest approach to tell you everything that is going to happen with the surgery and the outcome. He doesn't blow smoke up your xxx. I had to wait to see him, but it was the right call. The entire office and follow up after surgery was excellent. All my questions were answered and the Doc's compassion comes through. dr. lovely was professional and kind as i saw him for my carpal tunnel problem. surgery went well and i have no trouble with it any more

Dr. Lovely performed a laminoplasty on my cervical spine / surgery went very well and was highly successful! No further problems or discomfort!! Nice guy, highly skilled!!

Dr. Lovely is a skilled, compassionate physician. I am a physician, myself, and I turned to Dr. Lovely for extensive cervical spine surgery. I especially appreciated Dr. Lovely's honest and open preoperative discussions with me. He provided sufficient pain relief post-operatively and I always felt that I was in good hands. If I needed more surgery, I wouldn't hesitate to put myself in Dr. Lovely's hands again.

This doctor did not like the person who referred me to him. He intentionally made me wait 2 hours (I overheard him from down the hallway). He was doing rounds with students. He treated me very disrespectfully in front of about eight students at the University of Pittsburgh. This was a long time ago, about 1994. I hope his bedside manner has changed for the better. Especially since he appears to be a well respected surgeon.

i hade back surgery by dr lovely. I must say that he goes above and moor to do all that he can to for me. I do not have inchers at this time and he worked with me,i will say that daniel,dr gordon.and dr lovely are the best at whout thay all do.

I was the first hem-facial spasm surgery Dr.Lovely did in Albany NY. It was a wonderful success. I will always be beholding to him. What a big guy to do such "micro" work !
