Dr. Thomas George Luerssen, MD

Absolutely the worst bedside manner. I waited for over two hours without complaining once. His assistant had a real attitude, constantly trying to get me to leave by suggesting I reschedule because the doctor would be a while. It felt like he had a personal engagement he wanted to attend instead of meeting with a patient scheduled weeks in advance. After the long wait, I finally saw the doctor for only five minutes, and he was incredibly condescending and arrogant. This visit left a lasting impression, and this is the first time I've ever written a review about anyone or anything.

My daughter has seen multiple specialists since birth. I learned early on that how I feel about a doctor is second to their skill. Dr. Luerssen is a top notch pediatric neurosurgeon and I would recommend him to any family who was in need of a neurosurgeon. With that being said. He has the worst bedside manner and people skills that I have seen in the last 24 years of dealing with all of my daughters specialist.

My daughter has had many specialists , by far Dr. Luersseen had THE WORST beside manner of any of them But, he is excellent at what he does and while I would like to have fired him on numerous occasions, in the end we decided that it was more important that our daughter have "one of the best" versus a Dr. who wasn't quite as good but had a good bedside manner.

He may not have the best bedside manners but he is a great physician and his nurse is awesome

AWESOME!!! He saved my daughters life 23 yrs ago. She is STILL alive and kicking, 18 yrs beyond life expectancy. Doctors are still suprised at just how well she is doing! We owe it ALL to him. Thank you Dr. Luerssen! Sincerely...
