Dr. Thomas Montaldo, MD

Dr. Montaldo went from mediocre to poor. I complained of shortness of breath and he ordered a chest x-ray. At the end of my follow-up appointment, I reminded him of the x-ray. Until then, he didn’t seem to know why I was there. After looking at the results, he informed me I had emphysema. I left his office with no recommendation as to treatment. Two days later, I made an appointment with his nurse practitioner who gave me an inhaler. I later called complaining of a cough. IT WAS 2 WEEKS AFTER MY CALL TO THE NURSE PRACTITIONER THAT SHE RESPONDED TO MY CALL. She had just gotten the message. It appears there is a lack pro-active care as well as communication at this facility. Time to find another doctor.

was my doc for a while, i got tired of being in pain, i asked to be transferred to another doctor in the practice but the staff said No! well, no sense in beingwhere you cannot be helped, he is a nice person But when you need a M.D. you want that not a friend.

Very disappointed- would not recommend.

The office staff is very courteous except Dr. Montaldo MA, she is unbelievably disrespectful! I have had three incounters with this lady and all three times she was rude with the last one being down right degrading. At this point I never want to return because of her but finding a new Dr. that my insurance takes is such a pain.

Poor bedside manner felt like always being rushed

I'm so disappointed with this practice in general. Looooong waits. They really just shuffle you through like cattle. No real relationship with whichever provider you happen to be seen by. The worst is trying to get refills on simple allergy prescriptions! They will NEVER reply to your pharmacy for refill requests. You have to call THEM numerous times. And then they will give you ONE refill (if you're lucky). Most of the time, they request that you come back in - for absolutely nothing - but another SINGLE refill of allergy medicine that you've taken for years. Total waste of time and they purely function as a business - not a healthcare provider that cares at all.

one of the best doctors i had ever seen and would stii be with him today if not for the poor staff unfortunatlly the last time i was to sit and wait three hours in the waiting room with poor health problems this has happened four other times , Im done. I wish him well .problem is you sign in and they forget your out there when brought to there attention now they are embarassed then they get angry.

Dr. Montaldo is very good and his nurse is also. The front office staff is Incompetent and RUDE. Hope you do not need a referral in a rush or test results faxed to another doctor. Took 4 days with numerous calls and still did not get done, had to go to the hospital and get them my self and bring them to the spec. Dr.
