ADDENDUM: I HAD THE WRONG DR. MYERS!!!! MY REVIEW MARCH 20TH, WAS FOR DR. MYERS here in Rochester, NY !!!!!!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Myers and his team. He is straight-forward, conscientious and 6 weeks after a total hip replacement, my x-rays show that all is well. I want to thank him personally for giving me reassurance that things like swelling and pain can be a normal part of recovery. I really appreciate the extra care he put into making videos of each post-op exercise. It goes beyond the pictures in the very comprehensive booklet and clearly explains the reasons for being faithful to slow, controlled and precise following of directions. I want to thank everyone at Highland Hospital -- every nurse, the anaesthesiologist, the NPs, the radiologists, all those who helped whose jobs I don't know, the friendly staff checking me in for appointments both there and at the orthopedic center. But especially, I appreciate Dr. Myers and his professional manner and concern for me as patient. Thank you.

Waited an hour and twenty minutes in an exam room without any word.When he finally came in I asked two or three questions about my condition (I had no idea) and he became irritated, said he had been answering questions for earlier patients and "no more questions." That leaves a patient where ? A negative experience from start to finish.Would never return there or recommend this doctor.

I had a Total Knee Replacement on 7-13-2021. I did not have the intense pain I expected. The knee itself never really hurt that badly...most of the pain involved the muscles and it really wasn't that bad. Doing my stretching exercises relieved a lot of that pain. At the 2 week week point, I had reached my 4 week milestones. At 6 weeks, I had reached my 12 week milestones. I am now 8 weeks out from surgery and am able to walk 1 to 1.5 miles at a time, bike ride 10 miles, and I walk at least .7 miles a day. I am very happy with the results. Dr. Myers answered all of my questions both before and after the surgery. He was very informative and easy to talk to. My experience at Highland Hospital was also very positive. They were very attentive and helpful. In addition to Dr. Myer's skill, I believe the exercises he had me do before and after the surgery had a lot to do with my excellent results. He placed a lot of emphasis on these exercises. He is a great doctor!

I am very grateful to Dr Myers for the excellent hip replacement surgery he performed on me, as well as his attention to preventative infection measures and post surgery practices, including physical therapy recommendations.

I’d had hip pain for 6 years that interfered with my daily life. His office took X-rays on sight when I arrived for my appointments, so he had what he needed for a diagnosis. He listened to me and answered all of my questions & I didn’t feel rushed. His office was great to work with. Everything ran smoothly from my appointments to my surgeries to after care with PT. I had 2 hip replacements within 4 months & feel like a new person! He made a personal phone call to me the day before each surgery to check in & see if I had any questions. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. He is a great physician!

Dr. Myers and his team are wonderful. I had a total knee replacement about ten months ago; after three months I went back to work with no restrictions. (I am now 64, soon to be 65) As a rural mail carrier, I need to get in and out of my car up to 60 times per day for parcels and mail and be able to lift up to 70 pounds. This fall I was having trouble with my hip and in one visit the problem was found and remedial exercises given. I have full confidence that they will work well. I highly recommend this caring orthopedist and his staff.

I was in my 30’s with severe hip pain. Hip replacement surgery was conducted by Dr. Myers and alleviated all of the pain. I can now walk without a limp and play with my kids again. I am very thankful for the treatment I received, and extremely satisfied with the outcome of the surgery.

Dr. Myers is an amazing orthopedic surgeon who truly goes above and beyond for his patients. After having a very complicated orthopedic surgery history, Dr. Myers was very honest and realistic when he discussed my treatment options. Once I chose which treatment option I decided to go with, Dr. Myers has been there for me during each stage of my treatment. One can easily see his care, concern and dedication he has for his patients.
