I was left sitting in an exam room for an hour after my appointment was scheduled. I spoke to the staff, and they shared he was getting back from lunch. Very disrespectful. I left without getting treated. I will not use him again.

I do not recommend Dr. Thomas Newland for any type of eyelid surgery. One of my eyelids is noticeably vertically longer than the other and I still have excess skin above one eye. Also I paid him $1800.00 to have upper eyelid surgery which he didn't even do but apparently it was written up as if he did do it. My insurance pays for regular eyelid surgery but not upper eyelid surgery. I called the office several times to speak to his assistant that takes care of his appointments and collects the money for surgeries. I also asked to speak to the office manager. His assistant did call me but after I told her what I was calling about she put someone else on the phone who didnt even seem to know what I was talking about. The office manager never did call me. I wanted the upper eyelid surgery because I had fallen off my bike and it always looked swollen above my eyelids. Dr. Newland had stated to me twice (with no one else in the room at the time) that he didnt do the upper eyelid… surgery because there was nothing there but bone. So I have requested my $1800.00 back to no avail. So be aware.
