Waiting HOURS is not urgent care

I have been seeing the doctor for four years now. Until this year he was wonderful. Seems to prescribe antibiotic after antibiotic for reoccurring UTI. I had to insist on a culture and did not hear back for two weeks. Calls to the office were futile. I had other problems that required a CT scan. The facility that conducted the scan immediately faxed the results to Dr. Office. Never did hear back from the Drs. Office. I called for two straight weeks they claimed they never received the fax. The CT facility claimed they sent it three or four times. I gave them the fax number the doctors office gave me and watch them send it twice. I ended up taking matters into my own hands and taking the CT results to a woman's doctor nearby. I ended up having to have surgery. I'm certainly glad it wasn't cancer. I still like the doctor but I think he needs to get an office manager that knows how to manage. Just this morning I tried to get an appointment. Was put on hold for 10 minutes and then was hung… up on. I called back and another 15 minute hold then disconnect. The five or six times I have had appointments the wait time has been well over two hours each time. This is totally unacceptable.

My husband has seen Dr. Nguyen for several years now. We have always gotten wonderful treatment from him. He has a very good bedside manner.

I liked the Dr. I wish he wasn't so rushed.

He is awesome, so caring. Office is fairly awful and wait time is ridiculous, but Dr. Nguyen is awesome.

I'd go see someone else 30 or 40 miles away for a simple cough before letting this man near me. He has the iciest bedside manner I have ever encountered. Seemed totally unconcerned. Will not be recommending this man to anyone I care about. EVER. I recommend that anyone in Ellijay avoid him. The rest of the staff seems okay, but I must take off stars since they are even okay having him around as a doctor. I do not think he belongs in an otherwise good establishment.
