Dr. Thomas Charles Omalley, MD

I have never been so poorly treated by a doctor before. He was openly contemptuous of me, my questions and concerns, and my physical well being. He shoved a speculum into me right after I asked him to wait and give me a minute and made snide comments when I asked questions. I would NEVER recommend this doctor to anyone- you deserve someone who will listen to your concerns and questions with compassion and who will respect your body. Based on older reviews, this is not a new issue for this doctor. This practice should be ashamed that his name is affialiated with them.

This guy is a tool! Can't believe he is a "doctor". I wouldn't let him touch a hamster.

Dr. O'Malley is a very compassionate and caring doctor. He was the only one to correctly diagnose my problem.He is an amazing surgeon and obstetrician. He managed my high risk pregnancy and delivered my son.

I've been a patient at Partners in Women's Health for over 10 years. When I was diagnosed anemic due to heavy periods, Dr Omalley performed my ultrasound and stated I have no fibroids and would be OK to get the Novasure procedure to stop my period. I researched the procedure and was not comfortable with it. When I went to follow-up appt and said I didn't want that procedure, it was like Dr O'MALLEY didn't listen at all. He kept describing the procedure as if I had no other option but to get it done I went to Womens First for a second opinion and I Do have fibroids and an enlarged uterus!! I'm scheduled for a abdominal hysterectomy next month!!! Dr Omally is a horrible Physician and I wouldnt recommend him to Anyone!!!!! Not only did he misdiagnose me and my fibroids, He has no bedside manner and needs some training on communication and listening skills.

O'Malley exclaimed to me on the phone. I rang because now, five days post-op, my 7-inch vertical incision (from my public symphysis to naval) was quite inflamed and started to pull open near the bottom end. I had a low-grade fever). I implored the receptionist connect me with the surgeon, Oâ??Malley. I explained the condition, and he became angry, saying, â??I donâ??t care!â?? and then stated why he entered medical practice. Apparently, my parent's insurance company (I was in my second year of university at the time) had not yet paid the bill. Had he revealed his ethos in the 10 days between my diagnosis and the urgently required surgery, I would have chosen a doctor who abided the Hippocratic Oathâ?¦ and one who was far more experienced and skilled. The surgery was to take 2 hours; Oâ??Malley performed it in nearly 4. I was 22, years old, and had both academic and athletic scholarship (Track and Cross Country). I was very healthy, fit, lean, and should have been an… â??easyâ?? patient. An ovarian cyst needed removed. After the surgery, my left hip was in a great deal of pain (almost comparable to my abdomen). The pain and the limited mobility have never resolved, likely due to dislocated hip and/or labral tear during my surgery. My scar is atrocious, and as I now live around the world, medical doctors often comment on viewing it, â??where did you have this done?â?? not believing a doctor in the US would be so un-skilled. My surgery was performed in 1995, long before internet forums, and I now read, apparently only 1 year into O'Malley's practice. Today, in 2015, I googled his name and practice, as a friend needed an OB/GYN, to tell her **â??never see this man.â?? ** He sees patients as dollar signs. I now understand he was inexperienced, and un-skilled. As a young medical consumer and first-time patient (I should have queried his experience and resume), so was I. But the manner in which he treated me as a patient is inexcusable. I would never put my careâ??my life!â??in the hands of one who enters practice for a reason other than caring for humans.
