Dr. Thomas Taisoo Park, MD

I do not recommend going to this office, specifically, Dr. Barber. I was tossed around to three different individuals at this establishment before speaking with Dr. Barber. I am not sure how they are supposed to gather a diagnosis or what was the purpose of the other appointments if I am repeating the same thing to multiple individuals. The wait times to see Dr. Barber were also frustrating as it seems like he is always behind. The other two individuals I spoke to were fine, however, I felt that Dr. Barber was very judgemental in what I was saying as he was making faces and rude comments during my testing. During our time, he also mentioned how women are "very emotional". I was a bit taken back by this statement, with being a woman myself, I felt as if he wasn't taking my concerns seriously. Dr. Barber also made several other degrading comments that I would prefer not to mention in this review. It was difficult as is to seek help, and after my visits with Dr. Barber I'm not sure how… someone like this is working in the mental health field. Save yourself some time and money and do not go here.

Waited over an hour past appointment time to be seen, Dr did not listen to me at all but spent 10 minutes speaking down to me. Then the office made me pay out of pocket despite telling me they would bill insurance first when I called to make the appointment. They then double billed insurance after and are now refusing to take my calls to reimburse me for paying twice. Do not go to this doctor.

Very happy with office staff and Dr Park.

Dr. Park has a pleasant and funny personality. He is kind and sympathetic. He's also extremely knowledgable about medication to help mood and depression. I would recommend him to my friends who needed help.
