My ex-husband set up our 6 year old to see Dr.Pedigo regarding some behavioral issues our son was having. After the evaluation, Dr.Pedigo immediately recommended for our 6 year old to be placed on medication. Dad and I agreed that we did not want to explore that option first, so we wanted other therapeutic suggestions. Dr. Pedigo repeatedly talked about Aspergers and how it was “completely different” from ASD, but I know that Aspergers falls under ASD since 2013, per the DSM V. This concerned me, so I told my ex-husband I would get a second opinion, regardless of what Dr. Pedigo’s report concluded. I received a phone call from Dr. Pedigo (my ex called and told him) and he berated me for “wasting his time by bringing our son to him.” When I told him about my concern with the fact he suggested that he would diagnose our son with Aspergers when it’s not even a clinical term, he said “I’m not going to allow you to act like you know more about psychology than I do.” Extremely… unprofessional. If he’s willing to talk to the mother of his client like that, I do NOT want my child seeing him behind closed doors. His license should be revoked.

If you care about your child, do not take them to this office. I had the worse expierence ever with this office. They are extremely rude and the office manager has anger management issues. Dr. Pedigo is not concerned about his patients well being at all.

Dr. Pedigo, a very professional and intelligent doctor, is very knowledgable about child development and how the brain operates. I was reluctant to see him due to some negative reviews but my experience was positive and very informative with him. The staff is also very friendly and helpful with appointments and insurance questions. I am very picky about doctors: I expect doctors to care, professionalism, and competence. Dr. Petegio met my criteria.
