Dr. Phillips comes from a long line of family dentists. His grandfather, Dr. Leo E. Phillips, opened his dental practice in 1920 in downtown Ft. Worth. He was joined by his son, Dr. Thomas L. Phillips, in 1951. They practiced together nearly 15 years.
After graduating from University of Texas, Dental School in Houston, Dr. Phillips, Jr. joined his father's practice in 1982. They enjoyed a partnership for more than 20 years.
Dr. Phillips is a member of the American Dental Association, The Texas Dental Association, and the Ft. Worth District Dental Society. Dr. Phillips has served as a director for the Ft. Worth District Dental Society and held numerous other Society positions. He is also a member of The Academy of General Dentistry and is a past president of the Southwest Prosthodontic Society. He is also a member of the Lone Star Study Club and Legacy Outfitters. He has served on the board of the Rotary South of …Ft. Worth and was vice president of the Junior Chamber of Commerce.
