I have been a patient of Dr. Rakowski's for over 10 years. Dr. Rakowski is compassionate, knowledgeable, and experienced. He has given me great medical care and advice through my dialysis treatments and during the years I had my transplant. I like the fact that he listens to what I have to say and seriously considers my opinion on treatment options.

The last review is crap! I have seen Dr Rakowski for over 20 years and he has always been very professional and helpful pre and post transplant. The Dr is regarded by his peers as one of the best in his field. The doctor always treats me as one of his friends and keeps me informed about any changes in my health. The staff is always courteous, professional and very friendly. Anyone that really knows Dr Thomas A Rakowski will tell you that he is one of a kind and I'm grateful to have him as my Nephrologist.

Left room several times during our scheduled visit--wasn't prepared for our visit knew nothing about recent labs or test results done. Receptionist very unfriendly. Made no recommendations about a plan.Told us patient looked good and was fine though he had reviewed nothing and was unaware of the events of recent ER visit. Made pt feel like heath is improving though obviously he is very sick and needs to be told the truth. Doctor do no harm remember your oath!
