Dr. Thomas Rothenbach, MD

Our 12 year old was having lower abdominal pain and nothing was helping, so we ended up taking him to the ER. One look at an X ray and a second look via ultrasound confirmed that his appendix needed removal. From the time we arrived until my son was being wheeled to surgery was only about an hour and a half. My son emerged from surgery feeling much better and was able to leave the hospital about 14 hours later. Dr. Rothenbach talks fast, but is a very capable and caring surgeon. Highly recommended.

Dr Rothenbach saved my daughter's life last month. After complications following appendicitis, my daughter's small bowel was blocked by a blood clot. When Dr R found it, it was black. He put into motion what he has learned from his experience and saved 100% of her bowel, a week and a half later she left St Francis. He was very courteous, attentive And answered all of our questions. Even shared pictures of surgery. I am so thankful God led us to Dr Rothenbach.

I would recommend Dr. Rothenbach to anyone needing a pediatric surgeon in Tulsa. My 6 year old son had a fairly routine procedure done, but ended up being admitted to the hospital 2 days later because of a complication (not the Dr's fault at all). The ER immediately contacted Dr. Rothenbach and he worked very dilligently to figure out what the problem was and to fix it. He even consulted with another Dr from another speicalty. He came and checked on my son MANY times during his 3 day hospital stay and I always felt very at ease asking questions. He always made sure that my son and I were both comfortable with what was happening. Hopefully my son will not need anymore surgeries, but if he does we will only use Dr. Rothenbach.

Our son was born with a birh defect and Dr. Rothenbauch was there to ease our concerns about the surgery our son would have and the upcoming procedures that he would have throughout his life. Dr. Rothenbach moved to El Paso and we were having problems with our son and we called him and he was right there for us. He helped us get the answers we needed here in Tulsa and then we got the news that he would be coming back to Tulsa. What a wonderful addition it would make to ST. Francis Hospital! can't wait to see Doc!

My husband and I are very satisfied and happy with what Dr. Rothenbach has done for our daughter. He has performed three surgical procedures and I could not be happier (other than to have avoided the procedures all together) with the professionalism that he always exhibits with us. He is a very caring person and is more than willing to answer the millions of questions I ask.

Dr. rothenbach seemed distracted and short tempered with my wife and I as we asked questions about our daughter's upcoming surgery. The surgery itself took unusually long and he avoided us after the surgery. I have heard that Dr. Rothenbach is now practicing in El Paso Texas

We saw Dr. Rothenbach in the ER at St Francis Hospital. Very kind and professional to both me and my daughter. We have yet to make it to his office to get an opinion on that.
