Dr. Thomas Joseph Rubeo, MD

I am a patient and a physician. Let me tell you, if you are looking for an intelligent doctor with a compassionate medical staff, then just stop searching and make an appointment. He is one of the few solo OBGYN practitioners remaining. So if you want the SAME doctor who sees you for your checkups to be the SAME doctor who delivers your baby, look no further. That's right, he's on call 24/7 for deliveries or for whenever his patients need him. He isn't just knowledgeable, he is caring and compassionate. He doesn't have the most fluffy voice in the world, but wouldn't you rather have a doctor that knows what he is talking about? The office is beautiful and always kept clean. The ultrasound machines and other medical equipment is top of the line.The staff is very courteous and professional, couldn't have asked them for more. You NEVER have to wait too long to be seen. He delivered my beautiful baby boy and the labor process was better than expected, he made me feel very calm.… Trust me if you go with Dr Rubeo you won't be disappointed.

I am pregnant with my first child and was excited to meet with Dr. Rubeo after reading all of the reviews. The office staff is great and the office is clean. The first visit was fine. I am under the care of a cardiologist due to hypertension and i'm prescribed medication that is safe to take during pregnancy. Dr. Rubeo said he would prefer that I stop taking medication all together or switch to another one. I was open to considering it and agreed to speak to my cardiologist. After speaking to my cardiologist i decided i would rather stay on my current medication. Fast forward to today's appointment. Sonogram was great, tech was very nice. Baby is healthy. Met with Dr. Rubeo and brought up the medication. I was trying to explain that my cardiologist recommended that i continue with the med's and how i was weary to come off it . Mind you my BP at the doctor today was 150/90 ON MEDS. He was rude and stated "well is your cardiologist going to deliver the baby" and "if you don't want… to do this my way then i'm not the doctor for you." I have no problem having a dialog with you but i don't need a dictator as a doctor. It doesn't inspire confidence in me. I'm glad this happened now rather than much later and have located another doctor. TL:DR- if you have an opinion opposed to Dr. Rubeo he will break up with you. His staff is very nice though :)

He is very unprofessional, heartless, and rude. Please do yourself a favor and seek healthcare somewhere else. He is the worse obgyn I ever encountered in my life. I’m paying it foward by sharing my review to let you know you should steer clear of him because it will be in the best interest of your body and unborn child.

Dr. Rubeo provided great care, much different than other providers I've been to. He's professional and straight to the point. Dr. Rubeo and his staff has always made me feel comfortable with all of my appointments, from pregnancy to birth control insertion. The staff is very professional and courteous and always helpful. I recommend Dr. Rubeo to all women!

Just came back from my first appointment. Making the appointment was easy. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Office is well kept, clean. Very happy with my decision to go with Dr Rubeo!

The Doctor's phone message tells patients that the doctor is only available during working hours. However, they fail to let you know what his "working hours" are. I have called during "working hours" and the phone was not answered by staff. The answering service gave me working hours for that day, they even tried to get in touch with staff, but was unable to make contact. This is a very unfriendly way to treat patients. Should we guess what the doctor's working hours are? Would it be to difficult to add that information to the answering machine? Does the doctor know what's going on?

Kind, compassionate MD, knows his stuff, doing this for a long time. Staff has always been nice. Rude, brusk woman behind desk who I don't think even deals with patients. Highly recommend the practice

Dr. Rubeo has a very matter-of-fact bedside manner. He is extremely knowledgeable, and listens carefully to his patients. He is careful to ensure that his treatments match the birth plan (or menopausal needs) of his patients. He delivered both my babies, one a C-section the other a VBAC. He also assisted with a reconstructive surgery. You sometimes have to wait for him... other patients may need him more urgently!

Dr. Rubeo is such a wonderful and mild mannered doctor. He is knowledgeable and patient. His office is professional and on top of things. State of the art care. I am so blessed to have found them!
