Tom wants and encourages all of his patients to be able to find life enjoyment with movement and exercise, whether it is simply going for a walk, taking care of the home and yard or high-level exercise and competition. Tom’s passion is treating the general population that are hindered from their favorite activities by injury. Tom earned his Bachelor of science in Athletic Training with a minor in Psychology from Frostburg State University and later moved on to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Widener University. Tom is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and has been an adjunct professor for the St. Luke’s University Health Network Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program since 2017. Tom practices in the style of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy or The McKenzie Method. His philosophical approach and belief for positive patient outcomes are listening, education, proper mechanical assessment to ensure that his patients achieve their …goals of recreational exercise, hobbies, vocational demands, and life enjoyment. Tom finds life enjoyment being outdoors with his wife Claire and two sons Lincoln and Carter. Together they enjoy cycling, trail walking, hiking, and running.
