Dr. Thomas H Salmon, MD

Thank you Dr. Thomas Salmon for all your help. I feel very thankful that I have been tested for everything. I was concerned about the condition of my nerves and muscles; however, after being thoroughly tested I realize that my nerves and muscles still work properly. I simply need to get moving again and slowly but surely overcome my psoriatic arthritis.

I would give this physician 0 stars if I could. I found him to be extremely condescending, and didn't take my medical situation seriously. I feel he resented me for discussing my weight loss surgery when the man is suffering from morbid obesity himself. That's almost like walking into a doctor's office and them lighting up a cigarette as they discuss your medical history. I have now seen other neurologists that can't believe he delayed treatment of my cervical dystonia. He provided no explanation, no comfort and no insight into how to improve my quality of life. If you want a physician who will run endless tests instead of helping you, see doctor Thomas Salmon. Additionally, his office staff are rude, not helpful and it takes months to get an appointment. Go elsewhere.

Dr Salmon is excellent at listening and always manages to figure out how to best help me treat my MG and MS.

I've seen several neurologists over the years without a diagnoses. When I came to see him, I thought it was likely, I'd get the same. I was so wrong. He listened to my story with compassion, understanding and hope for answers. He did find out what was going on, which took time but I was up for it! This was over 5 years ago and I still see him. He's a wonderful doctor with an amazing bedside manner.

My husband has been seeing Dr. Salmon since 2005 for CIDP. We thank God another doctor recommended him.

I loved this Dr. he listened to my issues and took the right steps to make me better.

Dr. Salmon was attentive and answered my questions clearly.

When you can find a doc that finally finds the right mix of meds to fix you up it is worth driving whatever distance you have to. Have found neurologist as a whole seem to be more scientist and zero bedside manners. Not so with this doc. I drive a long way and will continue to do so to get the proper relief needed. Have been a pt for yrs and can always count on him. Had just had my dog of many yrs put down and had an appt next day, well ended up blubbing and embarrassing myself in exam room and he was so sympathetic and sweet asking if there was anything he could do. That's just one of many visits so if I have to drive to Timbuktu I will. Also shout out to Monica his MA for ALWAYS explaining everything and is patience itself. Might I add he's always ON TIME, very clever and never run you in and out. He is both a wizard at his specialty and sympathetic to your needs.

I was released by Dr. Salmon'soffice staff because they said I had missed 2 or 3 appts. He had given me tests and found I had the early signs of dementia. My memory fails me a lot! These appointments were not missed intentionally. When I called to make an appointment the front office told me that I would no longer be seen by the Doctor. When I expressed my concerns and wanted to discuss this further I was transferred to his medical assistant so I could get some kind of confirmation of this action. I left a message but I never received a call back or letter of this decision. Calling the front office is also frustrating because they listen then practically cut you off and transfer you to another extension not letting you know where they are directing you to. The professionalism shown by this office falls short of common customer courtesy. I have never been treated like this by any other medical administration.

Dr. Salmon is caring and compassionate. It seems like he truely cares about his patients. He makes me feel comfortable and as ease. I have been a patient of his for almost 5 years and I've never felt rushed. I can't remember ever having to wait more than 20 minutes, but normally it's about 5, maybe 10. It's refreshing having a doctor who takes your time into consideration! I recommend Dr. Salmon to everyone I know whos looking for a Neurologist!
