He truely listens to what you are telling him, making eye contact during the entire interview and answering appropriately when questioned. You immediately know you are the most important person at that moment even though he has hundreds of patients he's caring for. We're lucky to have him in Traverse City!!!

Dr Schermerhorn did back surgery on me six years ago and my back is strong and I function as if I've never had any issues. He and his staff were fantastic in providing a safe, comfortable environment and educated me through every step as well as entertained any questions and concerns I brought to their attention.
