I have been under Dr. Shook care for sometime already, and over all I can say I am very pleased and satisfied with the treatments I have been getting .

Dr Shook was thorough and professional. He took the time to answer all of my questions.

Excellent urologist. Intelligent and a good communicator. These transitions that the practice is going through are very inconvenient, however, I waited an hour past my scheduled appointment to see him.. He and his Immediate.staff are thorough, knowledgeable, and courteous.

Pre-turn of the century physician and practice. Very difficult to schedule an appointment. My biopsy was performed 1.5 hours AFTER it was scheduled. The MD never called my partner afterward. Results were withheld for over 2 weeks, despite repeated requests. The portal is useless; neither the staff not the MD seem to know how to use it.

I have seen Dr. Shook three times over a four year time span. The latest was on 10-09-19 for a prostate biopsy. On my first visit four years ago, I knew I had the right Urologist for me. He was patient, friendly, caring, intelligent in his field and respectful of my concerns. He allowed me to ask any and all questions as he answered each one from a layman's perspective making sure I understood his answers before moving on to the next question. It seemed to me that I was his only patient for the day. I experienced this on each visit. He performed my biopsy procedure without a single problem, and I have not experienced any of the normal symptoms associated with a prostate biopsy--no soreness, discomfort, bleeding, fever, or infection. I trust his work and knowledge completely in my quest for the best medical services available. Thank you, Dr. Shook, for your kind and professional nature. Gordon A. Smith

Wait time for each appointment is about 2 hours, office staff does not return phone calls and the office manager does not follow through with what she claims she will do.

Dr shook is a very professional and caring physician. He makes you feel like you are special, doesn't rush through appointment.

Said I did not empty completely and told me to catherize myself several times daily. Mayo Clinic told me this was absolutely not the case. He walked around the office yawning and was not professional in his manner. Avoid this doctor at all costs.

First visit I waited 1.75 hours and had to leave without seeing the Doctor. Nurse apologized but none from Doctor.Last visit I was preped for systoscopy lying on a tabletop. Nurse said she would get the Doctor ... I laid there for 40 minutes without moving. I asked Doctor if he forgot me ... he said other patients talked for long time and it would be rude to leave! He obviously did not think it was rude to leave me waiting.
