Performed a thyroidectomy on me because of thyroid nodules (thank goodness insurance won't just approve the surgery for this any longer) and damaged my superior nerve. I am left with barely a voice and major breathing issues for life. Also put 50 surgical clips in my throat with telling me. I told him not to remove any lymph nodes unless I had cancer but he removed many in the throat area anyway

Let me tell you, Dr. Seigel is not your average doctor by any means. Skill, professionalism, personality, right to the point and much more, all you would look for in a doctor. To label him as awesome is an understatement and to only give him five star rating does not do him justice. From the very first appointment with dr. Seigel I knew I was in good hands. I was scared, on the brink of a stroke with 95% artery occlusion, but all that fear was dissipated as he clearly and meticulously outlined my procedure. After about 60 to 90 minutes surgery at the hospital, I was wheeled to the recovery room to be discharged the very next morning with zero complications. For me, I can confidently say that dr. Seigel is a life saver indeed as I look forward to my best years ahead. Thank you Dr. Seigel.

In spite of surgery problems, he was straight forward and honest and sympathetic at the same time.

Disclosure: I am a family friend of the Siegels. Dr. Siegel is an excellent, caring, and knowledgeable doctor. He recognized my symptoms as appendicitis very quickly, and I was admitted to surgery before it worsened to a bursting appendix. I had a full recovery, and I have vivid memories from my childhood of his kindness and sense of ease during a frightening experience, having my first operation.

Dr. Siegel is not only professionally skilled and competent, he is a personable physician who focuses his attention on his patient making him/her feel as if he/she is his only concern.

Cold and uncaring. He refused to listen when told there was excruciating pain. There was MAJOR complications from the surgery which resulted in going to emergency the same night that the excruciating pain was dismissed. Bile leaked into entire abdomen and 77 days were spent in the hospital, 3 weeks of which on a ventilator. Doctor would not even look the family or patient in the eyes after that. There is more but I think i made my point.
