Dr. Wilson is the BEST Dr ever.

Not a endocrinologist just a wonderful pediatrician!!!

With a previous experience with another doctor (and at another clinic) I was treated like a moron when I came in with my newborn because he wouldn't stop crying. All I wanted was to hear, "Let's try a diet change," or "He's colicky." Anything. Instead they told me that as a new mom I just "wasn't used to baby crying." They treated me like I wasn't cut out to be a mother and then sent me home with no answers. I was devastated and decided to look elsewhere for a doctor. I was referred to the Salem Pediatric Clinic by a friend. Our first visit I noticed the inside of the building wasn't much to look at, but the nurses were so kind and friendly and Dr. Wilson was amazing, that now it doesn't even matter. Truthfully, I've NEVER been that impressed with any doctors I've ever had, so this was a pleasant surprise. He's friendly and very knowledgeable. He kept me so informed-- knowing what to expect as a new mom and encouraging me to call with any concerns I'd have. He never once was… condescending or made me feel like a idiot. He let me know that he had been through colic, too, as a father and in the end he actually helped me find some answers. His nurses are amazing and remember us when we come in. And anytime we've needed an immediate appointment they've gotten me right in (that same day), if not with Dr. Wilson, then with another doctor-- all of which have been equally as helpful. I've also never waited more than 10 minutes to get into my appointments and the lactation team there is awesome!
