Dr. Thourya Haoues-Brown, MD

I find the Dr. very helpful, easy to talk to and trust her . To me those are the important issues. Dr. Haoues- Brown has always been there for me, listens well. I recommend her to all. Karen F

I have been Dr. Haoues-Brown's patient for about 10 years now and I am so please that I found her. She is a very good doctor. She is a very good listener. She never objects to my questions or gives me the impression that she is above me in any way.

Was a patient of Dr. Haoues Brown, I got sick last year with an ear infection, called to make an appt, was told they couldn't fit me and to try Urgent Care! I ended up going to another practice and was also given my yearly physical, I was not comfortable with them at all. I stopped into Dr. Haoues Browns office this week to make appt for my physical as I was in the building and was told once you leave the practice she won't take you back! Me seeing another Dr. had nothing to do with Dr. Brown herself, I was very comfortable there. It was just the timing and them sending me to an Urgent Care, which is a little contradicting & I don't think was right, most practices have additional appts for unexpected illness. I asked for her to call me to discuss and she wouldn't, receptionist called me back instead.

Her office is an oasis of healing and hope from the moment when you step in to the time when you leave.

dr. haoues-brown is a good diagnostician. she has good sense of what is wrong internally when there is a life-threatening event. she would be a great emergency room doctor or trauma room center surgeon most likely. she has the right personality for this type of area.i switched doctors because she seemed uncaring about a health issue i had that damaged a part of my body & gave me one painkiller & a few muscle relaxants, which is ridiculous for my diagnosed condition.the staff at the time was disorganized & seemed stiff & uncaring as well. i found another doctor i like better closer to my home. why travel more than 1/2 an hour for a doc that really doesn't care when there's just as good of one right down the street.

does not listen to patient - does not answer questionspill pusher - staff poorly trained - took 5 tries to draw blood (got infection from the process)

I have never had anything but a good experience - from appointment setting to paperwork to actual care from Dr. Brown and her staff. I have never waited more than 5 min. She has always given me direct, clear and patient answers to any questions or concerns. Her staff is extremely friendly. I highly recommend her.

My wife and I just moved to CT and were looking for a good family doctor. While she seemed like knowledgable doctor, the service was poor. You need to supply them with stamps to send your medical records (to yourself). They are not very accomodating in terms of scheduling family appointments. There is zero reason a husband and wife can not be looked at at the same time. I would not recommend her to anyone who is looking for more from a doctor than a medical response.
