Dr. Thuy-Trang Nguyen, MD

I have never felt so embarrassed by a physician in my life. I went to her, having never seen a mental health professional, with the hope that she would be compassionate, understanding, and help me combat some mood issues I had been having. Instead she made me cry and gave me an unsolicited lecture. By the end she hit me with a major depressive disorder label and sent me with a script that I won't fill. I will not be returning to her and hope to look outside of the Mercy Springfield scope to get the care I desire. She also said my blood pressure was high, when, if she would have looked in my chart would realize that it's not normal for me, thus could be attributed to nerves. She asked if I was having post partum depression, to which I replied I've never had children nor been pregnant. I waited three months to waste a copay and be belittled.

I only visited this dr one time. she didnt even know me and she spoke down to me. she belittled me. I tried to scheudule with different dr and was told no. I guess she got to them with her account of what happened before i did.
