Tia Burr is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a unique understanding and passion for helping individuals and couples address their unique challenges and find healthy perceptions of themselves. Tia does this by realizing and capitalizing on her clients' personal strengths, to increase healthy coping skills and overall life fulfillment. She has 4 years of experience and specializes in substance use, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and major life transitions. Tia completed her Master of Arts (MA) in Counseling Psychology at Framingham State University. She knows that no singular approach is appropriate for every individual, so she has been trained in a range of modalities including Rogerian, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), positive, and strength-based therapies.
