While she appears competent with bedside manner DON'T be fooled. If you are pregnant RUN the other way. She'll give you unnecessary vaginal exams. She didn't even have the decency to speak with me upon finding no heartbeat at 7mos gestation. No glucose test given while pregnant but after questioning her, was given referral for one following my child's death (with no findings). My worst experience ever! Her actions after the fact leaves me to wonder where her praise and good ratings are coming from. PLEASE DON'T BE FOOLED. GET ANOTHER PROVIDER!! After switching providers I realized everything she did was wrong. Her hands should not have been inside me each visit....a big no no. I then switched providers and had no trouble carrying to term, just months later. With now 2children, I realize I want more than a fake smile in a provider.

I was rushed through a pelvic exam even after I stated I was having pelvic pain a couple weeks ago. I felt like she did not want to be bothered. I will never see her again or go to that location of UH.

I love Dr Melton. She took care of my last two pregnancies. She is great as an OB/GYN For now she has taken some type of leave and another doctor is taking her patients. I hope that whatever the issue she will return soon!!! I surely will miss her if she is no longer with this practice
