unfortunately, I have to say, a mercury leak from a cracked tooth was not taken seriously, as it should have been, even though this is a holistic :"safe amalgam" advertised office and I had all the symptoms and indications of mercury toxicity. and a crack. I had to go to another dentist who took me in as an emergency two days later to have the mercury filling removed and the crack repaired. This added two days of unnecessary waiting in increasing discomfort and symptoms, not only from the crack itself but, as any holistic dentist knows, from the mercury itself because leaking mercury from the crack causes numerous destructive symptoms.

I have had nothing less than exceptional experiences with Dr. Shields dental practice. I feel relaxed and comfortable while receiving my dental work. Dr Shields and her staff are professional, gentle, personable and use the latest technology. I feel confident that I am receiving excellent quality dental care. Dr. Shield's and her staff are the most comfortable, professional office I have been to in years. I arrived very early and was accommodated quickly. Dr. Shields met with me one on one and thoroughly listened to my history and health concerns, before introducing me to Taylor, my hygienist. Taylor was the most gentle and thorough hygenist I have ever had. Sarah, at the front desk was also a gem! I was able to get an appointment within 2 days of my initial contact.
