Dr. Tiffany C Townsend, MD

Dr Tiffany Townsend administered anesthesia to my daughter for an egg retrieval. In recovery my daughter was in severe pain and was significantly tachycardic. Dr Townsend ordered a pain medication and when that had no significant effect she ordered an anti anxiety medication. When my daughter continued to have the same problems Dr. Townsend left the clinic ,abandoned my daughter, and never contacted her again. After lying in pain for several hours with no effective treatment my daughter was transported to the hospital by EMS in critical condition. She required intensive care and multiple blood transfusions for internal bleeding. She was hospitalized for 6 days. Dr Townsend never contacted my daughter. I am a board certified anesthesiologist who practiced for almost 40 years and I have never witnessed this level of unprofessional, uncaring and substandard medical care. Dr Townsend should stick to scuba diving. Perhaps she takes her own safety more seriously.

Appreciated Dr. Townsend's attentive care during a whirlwind cesarean. Procedure went smoothly, and Dr. Townsend did a great job talking me through and letting me know what to expect.
