Dr. Timithy Macal Dunham, MD

I went to see Dr. Dunham for Ophthalmology and Optometry last month. I was in the clinic for nearly 3 hours the first time, 2+ hours the 2nd time. They are trying to see 11 patients at once and they are conducting some of the tests in the hallway. His assistants DO EVERYTHING. Including charting for him! They are using archaic machines and tests. He questioned every single thing I said including questioning if I was far sighted and if I had LASIK and if I had duct plugs. He called all of his female patients "young lady". He was condescending the entire time. He changed my glasses prescription even though I never saw clearly once during the test that he didn't even conduct. I'm going to get a 2nd opinion on my prescription and I'm never returning to this clinic again. It's beyond time for Dr. Dunham to retire.

My wife was scheduled for a very simple eye plug procedure due to her chronic dry eye. Instead of taking minutes it took over 3 hours. The staff did not confirm with her the nature of the scheduled visit, which they should have known from the beginning. Then they had her sit around for hours. She attempted to question the staff and they did not seem to take her seriously and did not follow up on the purpose of her visit. Her eyes were in pain and in need of the eye plugs so she toughed it out....for 3 hours!!!!! Dr Dunham is a good guy and good doctor but unless you are prepared to wait at least 2 hours per visit I do not recommend this practice. The staff is aweful. They don't appear to recognized issues when they are occurring and then are bad at determining remedy. Absolutely the worst office management ever. Of course, they all take their instruction from the Doctor. In my opinion, that's where the buck stops. Find another doctor. We will.

My husband had catarat surgery. Due to family history of glaucoma, he had problems from the very beginning. Dr Dunham saw him sometimes two to three times a week. Our appointments sometimes ran 2-3 hours long because he would not release my husband until he was satisfied that my husband's eye pressure was low enough. I would not trade him for the world.
